MiTwell LAUNCHES PALMSIZE, VERSATILE AND FANLESS BOX PC – KUBER-1000

The KUBER-1000 is fan-less, handy & meets Industrial EMI and EMS requirements of demanding applications.

Mitwell, Inc. , a world-leader innovator for Industrial PC (IPC) and embedded computing solutions- today announces its new Box PC KUBER-1000 – a compact-sized, fan-less embedded system featuring the 1.5 Hz Broadcom BCM2711 quad-core 64-bit processor adopting Cortex-A72 (ARM v8). The light version of KUBER-2K product family, KUBER-1000 is launched today.


The KUBER-1000 is designed in a fan-less case with palm size (99 (L) x 34 (W) x 92 (D) mm) can be fixed and installed in the system by wall mount or din rail easily for different application. Featuring the latest Broadcom BCM2711 processor with 2GB (LPDDR4 3200) memory. The adopting processor benefits more than 50% performance by supporting out-of-order execution compared to the previous generation, Cortex-A53. The graphic (VideoCoreIV) boosts from clock speeds 400 MHz to 500MHz, supporting display output up to 4K at 30Hz. A Real Time Clock (RTC) which ensure the device keep the precise time. KUBER-1000 also has a well-thermal solution, operating a Thermal Design Power (TDP) below 10W and supports 12-30 VDC +/- 20% power consumption for demanding areas.

For local data acquisition, the KUBER-1000 offers industrial interfaces. 2x Gb Industrial Ethernet ports and optional wireless LAN supports for multiple network connections in different application, which is important for the IoT gateway solution. Additional 2x USB 2.0 ports can connect the additional peripheral and devices. MicroSD storage slot for operating system, application software and data. The 12pin GPIO is reserved interior for further expanded connections, making the perfect solution for industrial automation applications, the factory automation, and a perfect IoT gateway.


For use in industry environments, kuber-1000 has TPM hardware security and wide voltage power input support. Meanwhile, KUBER-1000 meets the light-industry requirements of EN 61000-6-3 (EMI), EN 61000-6-1 (EMS). On the software side, KUBER-1000 can adopts Linux OS like Yocto or Ubuntu as the operating system for flexibility. It leads KUBER-1000 to the quick implementation in plant networking, process monitoring, environmental management, and process visualization.
