Armory Monitoring System

Armory Management

Logistics and supply chain management is the responsibility of the national army. In addition to the heavy duty of defending the country, the management of ordnance and ammunition storage is also a routine work. Typically troop ordnance management includes item type, import permit, user identity and usage period. In the past, these information and management were carried out through paper records and manual operations, and problems such as recording errors, paper loss, and human operating error often occurred.

Armory Digitalization

Taking advantage of digital technology, the modern armory monitoring system uses a 10-15-inch touch-screen panel personal computer (PPC) as the human-machine interface (HMI) and installs the Windows operating system to allow easier and faster programming of application development. Also, it includes the most important component, the sensor. Sensors are usually contact-less, such as RFID. The general armory monitoring system will be equipped with an active RFID master control terminal. Objects or equipment to be detected, such as ammunition boxes, munitions, etc., are connected to passive tags to achieve close-range detection. At the same time, the data is synchronized with the background server to realize information storage and tracking and achieve the purpose of armory management and information security.
